Torah MCP is a remote MCP server (streamable HTTP). Free, no account, no data collection.

אclaude.ai
  1. Open claude.ai → Settings → Connectors
  2. Click Add custom connector
  3. Paste this URL, name it “Torah”, confirm — the mobile app follows on its own:
https://torah-mcp.com/mcp
בClaude Code
claude mcp add --transport http torah https://torah-mcp.com/mcp
גOther MCP clients

Any compatible client (streamable HTTP transport) works with the same URL. The server exposes 15 read-only tools, 5 prompts (hebrewbooks, havrouta, paracha, debutant, avance) and one MCP App — the daf viewer.

דYour level

Simply say so at the start of the conversation — “I'm a beginner, I don't read Hebrew” or “advanced mode” — or let Claude infer it from your question. The mode_etude tool sets the register (beginner / classic / advanced) without changing anything about the source discipline; you can switch at any time.

הAccess by invitation — optional

By default the server is public. For invitation-only access, the host sets the BEARER_TOKENS secret (one token per guest, comma-separated); each guest then uses https://…/<token>/mcp, and access is revoked by removing the token.

וHost your own instance

The code is free (MIT), with no secret required. Optional: HEBREWBOOKS_API_KEY (catalogue search — key on request from developers@hebrewbooks.org), BEARER_TOKENS.
